Greg and Sonia Brown, W.W. Cannon owners were honored to meet former US Army Staff Sergeant Salvatore Augustine “Sal” Giunta, MHEDA’s keynote speaker at the 59th Annual Convention.
Sal Giunta was honored to receive the Medal of Honor as a result of his courageous acts during a deadly ambush from the Taliban in Afghanistan.
In his presentation at the 59th Annual MHEDA Conference, Sal inspired his audience with his humble spirit and patriotic strength. His account of the horrific events that led to his heroic acts were shared with humility, yet powerful command.
Sal’s message left the audience with a surge of patriotism and an overwhelming desire to live more meaningful and fulfilled lives. With a sense of responsibility to self, family, and country the audience was armed with a renewed sense of purpose.
Sal states, “You don’t know if you have five more days or 5000 more days to give 100%, so give everything you’ve got every day.”
