These wire cage equipment lockers were used to separate the warehouse from the installers prep area to help provide safety and order.

The warehouse crew loads each locker with the proper cable installation equipment for every single job.  When the installers come in, they go to their personal locker and pick up the parts that they would need for installs that very day.

The old system had the installers line up to receive their equipment while it was handed out to them one by one.  This was a much slower process.

Now the lockers are loaded with new parts while the installers are out.  When they return, they pick up their new assignments and are able to immediately grab the needed parts from their personal locker which is a more efficient process; saving time and money.
