HVLS Ceiling Fans are ceiling fans that are greater than 7 feet in diameter, move a high volume of air at a low speed (around 8 mph), and can cover an area of over 20,000 square feet. They are lightweight because there is no gear box, and emit <42 decibels, so they are quiet. In the summer, these big ceiling fans move a significant amount of air, creating a gentle but notable breeze for employees (10-12 degrees cooler). In the winter, as heat rises to the ceiling and becomes trapped, they gently push the warm air down to the floor.

Depending on the size and type of system you choose, you'll be able to manage a single fan or a zone containing up to 30 fans. Setting a schedule will be determined by several factors, including the climate, when large machinery is running and when workers are present.
